Mattie Lucinda Sanders and Dock R. Ramsey

Mathia (Mattie) Lucinda Sanders, born March 10, 1870, was the second child from the marriage of Isam Sanders and Mary Jane Mayberry. Mattie was likely born in Washington County, Arkansas and attended the Cane Hill School House.

When at the age of 18, Mattie married Dock Ramsey on August 17, 1888 in Washington County, Arkansas. There are photographs of two Ramsey families and one of them is believed to be Dock and Mattie. 

Dock and Mattie had 4 children: Ethel, Ona, Clyde Lemuel, and Esther.

Dock died February 22, 1951. Mattie's time of death is not known. Dock's brother, Russ, moved his family to the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas.  Dock either stayed in the Yale, Oklahoma area or went to Texas.
