Rebecca Annie Sanders and Russell Robert Ramsey

Rebecca Annie Sanders was the first born of Isam Sanders and Mary Jane Mayberry. She was born on August 20, 1869 in Prairie Grove, Washington County, Arkansas.

On April 19, 1887 Annie married Russell Robert Ramsey in Washington County, Arkansas. Russ was born October 15, 1869 in Tennessee. Annie and Russ had three sons and three daughters: Robert (Roy), Isom, Vona, Viola, Alvin, Lena, George, and Mable.

Russ is the brother to Dock Ramsey who married Annie’s sister, Mattie. There were three known marriages between Ramseys and Sanders in Washington County, Arkansas.

Russ died on March 9, 1934. Annie died on March 15, 1936. Both died in Texas. It is noted that many descendents of Annie and Russ live in Texas today.
