William Scribner and Susan Sophia

Records indicate that William Scribner, was born on April
29, 1821, in Liberty Township, Delaware County, Ohio. Census records
indicate that William Scribner spent most of his life living in, and around,
Cardington, Ohio.
William married Susan Sophia Newberry some time around 1847, and had 8
children. Their names were Wallace, George,
Viola, Minerva, John,
Thomas Harvey,
Charles,
and Jacob. We have no other information concerning Wallace, Minnie, or
Jacob.
The information that our family has collected indicates that 3 of William's
sons decided to move their families westward. Thomas Harvey, and his two
brothers; George and Charles, took their families towards the Indian
Territory.
William passed away on September 22, 1890 in Cardington,
Ohio. His wife passed away sometime around 1880. At this time we do not know
where William, or his wife, are buried.
