Card Number: 20
TO:  Miss Mable Scribner, Clayton, New Mexico
FROM: M. W.  (Maggie Wilson)
Postmarked:  Yale, Okla.  June 16, 1908
Correspondence and notations: "Hello girlie. How are you. I am well. Hoping you are the same.  I have been looking for a letter from you. We are having a fully rainy weather now. What are you doing for yourself nowdays? Are you preparing for your wedding trip? ha, ha, ha.  M. W."

Comments:  Even though the Scribner family resided at Yale, OK., Mable was still in Clayton taking school. By this time, Lem Sanders had proposed. Mable was likely anticipating the trip returning to Yale.  Lem and Mable were married almost two months later on August 10, 1908.  Maggie was Lem's sister and would become Mable's sister-in-law.

Back of card: Insignificant
