TO: Mrs. Lem Sanders (Mable Scribner Sanders), Hominy,
Okla. Box 16
FROM: Nellie (Nellie May Scribner), Yale, Okla.
Postmarked: Yale, Okla. Aug 30, 1912
Correspondence and notations: "Yale Okla Aug 29 1912,
Dear Sister and family, we are all well. Hope you are all well. Hope
you are all the same. I have been awful busy canning fruit. We went
up to Earls last night to an ice cream supper. Well, we heard you
was going to Texas. How about it, how is the boy, well I have so
many letters to write, ans soon, Nellie"
Comments: Nellie is Mable's older sister. Earl
might be Earl Wilson or Earl Lorette, but they would be to young to
host a supper.. Don't know if they actually got to
Texas. The "boy" is Lemuel Clyde Sanders, born
almost a year before. |
